What this page sends: the device ID you typed, and nothing else. No email address is asked for and none is stored. The app itself sends nothing on its own — this page is the one place that talks to the network.

One trial per machine. Asking again returns the same token with the same end date, so there is no point coming back for another seven days. We would rather say that plainly than pretend not to notice.

When the seven days are up, the app stops and your files are untouched — nothing is deleted and nothing is held hostage. Buy a licence and the same install carries on where it left off.
